Tanning bed bulbs are an important part of the tanning bed process. Tanning beds bulbs are not all the same. There are long tanning bed bulbs. These tanning bed bulbs look like fluorescent lights. Tanning bed bulbs like these are used on both the top and bottom on the beds.

Conventional beds contain tanning bed bulbs send out both UVA and UVB rays. The UVA rays from the tanning bed bulbs are for tanning and aging. The UVB rays from the tanning bed bulbs are the burning rays.

If you use a tanning bed with these kinds of tanning bed bulbs you will need to build up a base tan over a time period of about a month. When tanning with these tanning bed bulbs you will need to spend about 20 minutes 3 to 5 times a week for a month.

If you tan in a UVA only bed you will need to spend a few weeks, 3 to 5 sessions, total, to get the same results. This means you won't need to spend as much time under the tanning bed bulbs.

The tanning bed bulbs in either bed will require your continued use if you want to maintain your tan. If you use a tanning bed with both UVA and UVB rays you will need to use the tanning bed bulbs 2 or 3 times a week if you want to stay tanned.

The tanning bed bulbs in the UVA only bed will not require as much of your time. When you tan using these tanning bed bulbs you will only need to tan 2 or 3 times a month.

You should know which tanning bed bulbs your salon uses.
